We all know the restless duo of friends: Masha and the Bear. Nowadays we know them especially well thanks to the modern cartoons.
However, our theater offers you a sincere, touching folk tale that is essential for our young theatre-goers in educating them on the necessity of a genuine friendship.
Our story begins one day when little girl, Masha, is lost in the woods while collecting berries with her friends. Accidentally she finds a hut, of a hermit Bear. Masha was not afraid of Mikhail Potapovich. On the contrary - she even began to sympathize with a large bear. Helping him around the house, girl realized that he was not frightening at all. Not even nearly as terrifying of a beast as he was rumored to be. He's just a lonely being, actually, a very lonely one. On the other hand, Bear became so fond of Masha Maria that he did not want to let her go. In time, Mikhail Potapovich gets used to Masha, and his life shines with new colors.
Yes, Masha and the Bear became real friends.
However... as it is in the folk tale, our characters have to say goodbye to each other, because Masha wants to come back home, to her family. In our performance, heroes are separated, but become very dear friends. They will surely meet again.
